Clue Board Game, Mystery Games for 2-6 Players, Family Games for Kids Ages 8 and Up

The game Clue is fine but when ordering, your system would not allow me to list the shipping destination as an apartment number. It kept putting in Suite. When ordering, it was listed as sold and shipped by Walmart but the product actually came from another source. The product was not well protected when shipped. The game box was ripped and looked old and used. This was not just shipping damage, the game looked as if it was not a new item. As it was a birthday gift and the item looked so bad, it had to be returned and another Clue was bought from a different store - all an inconvenience to the family that received it. There was nothing positive about this transaction.

My grandnephew is seven years old. I taught him how to play the game and he loves it. This game is definitely worth the price. We play games every Sunday after church and clue is always at the top of the list.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the classic board game Clue for the first time, courtesy of Influenster. As a busy parent of two young children, my partner and I have had limited opportunities for quality time together. However, playing Clue provided a delightful exception. We thoroughly enjoyed the game's engaging mystery-solving mechanics and the chance to reconnect over some friendly competition. Despite being a newcomer to the game, I found it easy to learn and immerse myself in the detective work. Our evening playing Clue was a wonderful respite from the demands of parenting, and we look forward to many more enjoyable games together.

I love the old "classic" games...just the way they were when they originally were created. This version of clue is not the original "classic". Maybe I should have paid more attention to the picture on the box...I just thought "classic" in the title meant the original from years ago, but apparently "retro" is the word we want to use when searching older games. Once we received the game, saw the character changes (names and characters in general), the elimination of the words Mr. and Mrs. (so ridiculous) I knew right away it was going back...never even opened it so can't say as to how the game play changed as others have said. To these companies....just leave things alone they were great the way they were *eye roll We returned and bought the "RETRO" with all the original people, game play and pieces.

Price was competitive and arrived quickly

Most of the things I purchased were on sale.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got my hands on the revamped Cluedo game. if you've ever played cluedo before you'll basically know how the game works it very nostalgic for me. I game looks really good and the quality of this new board is very good. Besides a few minor game changes there isn't much of a difference between this and the classic cluedo game that i'm sure many of us know, besides some aesthetic changes. The main reason I have given this 3 stars more like 3.5 is because I feel like they have just added steps to the gameplay for the sake of it. After you have taken the 3 cards from each pile and slipped them into your envelope you are to place random clue cards on the board and continue playing. I don't know if this is necessary or maybe it's just because I'm used to the original gameplay that I don't think little extra steps like this are needed as they don't really benefit gameplay. Either way the quality is great and if you're looking for a revamped look to an old classic board game this might be a good option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to have a games night with Cluedo, with 4 adults and 2 kids- and it was so much fun! Only 1 of us had previously payed this game before, so we had to ensure we read the instructions and it did take a little while to understand what we were meant to do and how to play, but it was a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. The 10 year old enjoyed playing and understood the rules well. I think one thing that can be added to the game, is some little pencils, and also 2 figurines for each character, so you can use one for the actual game, and one can be placed in front of the player so you don't forget which character you are. Would make it much easier to have a colour reference in front of each player. For the first time playing, it was great, was a lot of rules to remember, but we helped each other and eventually understood what we were meant to do, with a few mistakes in between! A great game for a gaming night and the kids enjoyed it as much as the adults. We will be playing this again on a weekend in a few weeks time. Highly recommended for people of all ages to play Cluedo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all the delivery experince was so painful and awful. We did not enjoy the game one bit and the instructions were not clear. The game itself was very complicated, boring and not fun at all. I would not recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game has given me so many good memories. It takes me back to childhood and playing it at home and at school with friends . The game is still easy to learn and can be addicting. The only downfall to this game is that it lasts a long time. We have developed a plan to deal with that! We leave the board set up for days on end and play a little each day until the game is finished. We also photograph the board at the end of each day to make sure that no “cheaters” move pieces or cash.

My youngest struggled at the beginning however once he played a few times he got it and understood how to solve the mystery. Highly recommended game for keeping the family entertained especially with the bad weather.

From my 13 year old right through to the eldest family member, it was easy to follow and suitable for a wide range of ages. Great playing pieces and plenty of playing material. Great to see double sided writing pad as it lasts longer! Fun, classic game that makes you think! Definitely a must add to Family game nights!

After challenging my housemates to a games night of cluedo I can easily say I miss this game a lot. Somehow only a small argument was started but ended in lots of laughs and giggles. Hasbro's Cluedo has definitely reinstated some childlike joy and happiness in our home!

All of the components including the board, player tokens, weapon pieces, cards and detective notebook are sturdy and well made. The set up is fast and simple. The game play in Cluedo is not too difficult - perfect for new players and children as well as expericed players. Overall its a fun game with lots of replayability. Highly recommend.
