History Channel Trivia Game

History Channel Trivia Game

From the legendary HISTORY CHANNEL comes an all-new Trivia Game for the ages! HISTORY Trivia Game is a tournament of knowledge and strategy — the first player to win a card in all 5 categories is the WINNER! However, opponents can attempt to block each other from the specific categories needed to win by replacing their answered question card with a new card from ANY category. The trick is knowing which categories your opponents need to brush up on or have already won. But wait – there is another way to win! Every 3 cards from the same category can equal 1 WILD card for any of the categories a player still needs, so whether you know a little about a lot or a lot about a little – it’s anyone’s game!

Fun Game!

by anonymous

We had a really fun time playing. The instructions are clear and simple. There are a good mix of questions that are difficult and questions that are common knowledge so everyone was able to get questions right. I would definitely recommend this game.

My 2nd copy, to give to a friend!

by Marcus

I already own this great trivia game, so I bought a copy for my cool neighbors who are history channel obsessed. They LOVE it too! They commented how their kids can join in, because the difficulty level of the cards has a very wide range. They love the simple, yet strategic rules, and appreciate the lack of a pointless game board. I'm a big fan of Dyce games. How they manage to keep making great games at low prices blows me away. Check out Pick Your Poison, Bad People, Brain Freeze, if they haven't sold out yet.

Unique & Fun Game!

by Mercedes

This History Channel Trivia Game looks like so much fun! We have a couple of history buffs in our family so this will be a blast and the competition will be lots of laughs for sure. I love watching the History Channel and can't wait for our next friends and family get together so we can break this game out. The game is made well and the cards are sturdy. Some of the questions are easy and some are hard. I guess it just depends on what you know about but there are different categories so there is something for everyone! The first player to collect at least one card in all 5 categories wins. You can even partner up in this game. I love this game because it's a new and fresh idea on a trivia game. Lots of fun! Highly Recommend!

A history buff's delight!

by DalTxJim

Attention all history buffs! This game is for you! It arrives in a very handsome box which contains instructions, board and trivia cards. The five stacks of trivia cards contain over 50 cards each and are in five different categories. Each card has questions, as well as the answers. It is meant for ages 14+ and for 2+ players. It's great!

A lot of fun

by Liz

I wouldn't describe a lot of the questions as “history” per se, as much as I would general knowledge. But it was a lot of fun for our large family Thanksgiving, with a variety of ages involved. Not suitable for young children. But preteen and teenage had fun too.

Nice History Trivia

by MissNiecy

I am the type of person who enjoys learning new things so a trivia game is always right up my alley. I took this game to work to give my coworkers and I something to do in our down time. We had a good time playing this and learned some things at the same time. I'm going to play this with my teens soon to see how they respond.

Have fun and learn at the same time

by Nanch H

This game came with an instruction guide that was not clear enough to fully comprehend. I watched a You Tube video that was more comprehensive. The answers on the cards were in small print not very comfortable on the eyes. Other than those two minor issues it is a wonderful game. I have played a few times and am learning interesting facts in all the categories. The questions were well written and straightforward. The questions cover large periods of time up to and including recent events.

Great game, especially if you like learning!

by Aeris

This game is so fun! I'll admit that I didn't know the answers to a LOT of the questions. We chose to play in teams, so that helped. It was great getting to learn some things I didn't know while also playing a game with the family. The way the directions say to play is to put one card from each category out, then if you answer it correctly, you get to replace it with a card from any category, so it has some nice strategy for how to stop the other team/players from getting the cards they need. The first time we played it, we chose to ignore that mechanic of the game and just picked which category we wanted (we left the whole stack for each category on the board). It made the play easier but also took away any of the strategy there's supposed to be. Overall, it's great! There are multiple ways to play and lots to learn!

Family fun

by Oldstyle

Our family always gets together on holidays and Judy about every other weekend. Board games will never get boring to us. This game is so fun in so many ways. From about sixth grade to 90 year olds are all good to play this one. We like to play teams so old and young can help each other!

Great game for kids and adults alike

by Nabs

This is so much fun to play with kids. Especially if you have teens. It puts them ahead of their peers when it comes to trivia games and basic knowledge. It has so many categories to choose from. (See my pictures of all it contains). Honestly history channel never disappoints and ive been wanting an educational game for the kids to be well rounded. I found what i was looking for.

Very fun & quick game!

by kesa76

This History Channel trivia game is very fun. There are several ways to win and meets many challenge levels. There are five categories that you can choose from; Science & Technology, People & Events, Geography & Landmarks, Art & Culture, and Sports & Recreation. Each card has several questions so you don't have to discard it right away. It's a fast game so you aren't stuck playing it for hours unless you just want to keep playing. It offers plenty of interesting facts so you wind up learning lots of new things. It is great for when the power goes out & you need something to do, great for camping, sleepovers for the teens, or just a fun family night. Instructions are easy to read, exlain & understand. Luckily, it only takes a minute to explain the rules. This is definitely a great game to add to your collection.
