Classic game. A lot of fun if you like board games that last a couple of hours. But ours didn't include the $10 bills! I couldn't believe they weren't in the bundle of dollars. I've never bought a brand new game that was missing pieces! We'll have to try to order the bills separately I guess.

The box and tray are completely destroyed! I can't see how anyone would think that this was fit for sale! we needed this for our family vacation tomorrow. Shame on the Walmart employee that did this!

Box was in terrible shape but when opened, all pieces were there. I wish more attention to detail was taken.

Quality of houses and hotels not like the original game. The new pieces are nice 👍

This edition has some extras such as a tray for storing the bits and pieces of the game so it stays organised and you’re less likely to lose parts which makes it very convenient and easy to store. The pieces of the game are bigger than before too which makes it easier to handle and play with.

The board & accessories are made from good quality materials so they are great for little hands who are as careful with things. All round great fun for all the family. Really enjoy this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought Monopoly was just a fun little board game about buying properties, bankrupting loved ones, and slowly losing the will to live over 4-6 business hours. I had no idea it would double as a psychological thriller when played with my in-laws—who, as it turns out, are rampant Tories. From the moment we opened the box, I knew I was in trouble. My father-in-law immediately bought Mayfair and started calling it “a solid long-term investment opportunity,” while my mother-in-law privatized the Water Works and tried to sell shares in it. At one point, my brother-in-law referred to the Free Parking space as “socialist nonsense” and tried to introduce a toll system. Every rule was bent with Thatcher-esque efficiency. The rich got richer, the poor (me) got lectures about “pulling myself up by my bootstraps,” and when I finally landed in jail, everyone nodded approvingly and said, “That’s what happens when you don’t contribute to society.” By the end, I wasn’t sure if I’d lost a game or accidentally voted for austerity. Would I recommend Monopoly? Sure—if you enjoy economic despair, class warfare, and watching your in-laws reveal their inner Priti Patel. Next time, we’re playing Uno. At least then I can reverse the damage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great family game. There is a detailed instruction manual along with quick start guide included in the box. Board is good quality, all the bits are nice and sturdy. Card are very easy to read. It's a very nice board game for family gathering.

Great game to play with or without expansion packs. Easy for all ages to understand and will last for generations. Packaging is easily identified as it keeps to the classic design.

It’s very nostalgic as I used to play it frequently when I was a child. I’m glad to be able to play it again in my adult years! It’s just as fun as I remember it being.

It’s a simple concept- players buy, sell and trade to win. I particularly like it when we end up in bidding wars when properties become available at auction. If you own all properties on a street you can buy houses and hotels. It can be played by 2 to 6 players.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the classic monopoly game with a few upgrades. The tokens, houses and hotels are now slightly bigger for easier handling which was nice. I also liked the trade it came with. It makes it really easy to keep everything organized during the game and also it makes it easy to store. Now when it comes to the game quality I have to say it has greatly decreased. Everything feels really cheap. When I was opening the board part of it started ripping so I would suggest tapping all the creases right away to protect the board from breaking. The box itself was already peeling off at the corners just from moving it around and storing it. So I don't see it lasting long unless we also tape it down or something.

I’ve always enjoyed monopoly growing up so now this set is perfect to play with friends, family, and just the 3 of us! Neatly organized and placed like I remember!

I do think the car pawn should be replaced, though, because it becomes difficult to figure out which is the Parking Expansion Deal Mobile and which is the regular car pawn throughout the game. Otherwise this classic board works well.

We got it during the Christmas holidays, just in time for a family get together and we had a blast. The packaging is small, but very functional, easy to carry and all the components are easily stored inside. Trying this useful tool has changed the way we play Monopoly at home and I don’t think we’ll play it any other way again, especially if you are time constrained as you can be done in 30-40 minutes approximately. This makes an already fun game even more fun and full of laughters
