Monopoly Board Game, Classic Game with Storage Tray and Larger Tokens, Family Games, 8+

The box and tray are completely destroyed! I can't see how anyone would think that this was fit for sale! we needed this for our family vacation tomorrow. Shame on the Walmart employee that did this!

Box was in terrible shape but when opened, all pieces were there. I wish more attention to detail was taken.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought Monopoly was just a fun little board game about buying properties, bankrupting loved ones, and slowly losing the will to live over 4-6 business hours. I had no idea it would double as a psychological thriller when played with my in-laws—who, as it turns out, are rampant Tories. From the moment we opened the box, I knew I was in trouble. My father-in-law immediately bought Mayfair and started calling it “a solid long-term investment opportunity,” while my mother-in-law privatized the Water Works and tried to sell shares in it. At one point, my brother-in-law referred to the Free Parking space as “socialist nonsense” and tried to introduce a toll system. Every rule was bent with Thatcher-esque efficiency. The rich got richer, the poor (me) got lectures about “pulling myself up by my bootstraps,” and when I finally landed in jail, everyone nodded approvingly and said, “That’s what happens when you don’t contribute to society.” By the end, I wasn’t sure if I’d lost a game or accidentally voted for austerity. Would I recommend Monopoly? Sure—if you enjoy economic despair, class warfare, and watching your in-laws reveal their inner Priti Patel. Next time, we’re playing Uno. At least then I can reverse the damage.

The board & accessories are made from good quality materials so they are great for little hands who are as careful with things. All round great fun for all the family. Really enjoy this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great family game. There is a detailed instruction manual along with quick start guide included in the box. Board is good quality, all the bits are nice and sturdy. Card are very easy to read. It's a very nice board game for family gathering.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So when I say my Monopoly board is old, I mean it's OLD! It's the kind that if it had actually been taken care of, had all it's pieces, and not been beat to a pulp from decades (yes, decades) of hard play, it might actually be worth something. That being said, I knew it was time to retire the old girl and put her away for viewing and fond memories only. But in my house, Monopoly is an institution, so going without a board is a downright travesty and can not be accepted. So, that brings us to the new set! Obviously, it's the same game, same rules, and overall same setup, but with a few minor changes (and, in my opinion, improvements). To get into it, there are some new player pieces I haven't seen before, which is kind of cool, but my FAVORITE thing about the set... the pop out inner lining of the box has a whole sorting area made to hold all the preperty cards, money, buildings, etc. I'm ALWAYS stuck being the banker, and keeping it all organized in the box lid kinda sucks, so having a brand new game board with the ability to keep it all organized and in it's place is AMAZING!!! I know that is probably the weirdest thing to be excited about, but all is fair in love and Monopoly... I mean war?

The refreshed design looks great, with modern tokens and a clean board layout. The gameplay remains the same, so it’s still the classic game we all know and love. Perfect for family game nights, Highly recommend if you're a Monopoly fan

We were teaching our children who have never played before how to play and they throughly enjoyed it. We loved the new additions to the playing pieces and the more square shaped property cards. All around brilliant game for the family

I do think the car pawn should be replaced, though, because it becomes difficult to figure out which is the Parking Expansion Deal Mobile and which is the regular car pawn throughout the game. Otherwise this classic board works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This board game is one of the OG’s. Used to play this all the time growing up and now I get to host game night as an adult. One of the best board games out there. Takes forever to win it but it’s worth the fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve enjoyed playing Monopoly since being a kid, and I love the fact my children are now old enough to play with me. It’s a simple concept- players buy, sell and trade to win. I particularly like it when we end up in bidding wars when properties become available at auction. If you own all properties on a street you can buy houses and hotels. It can be played by 2 to 6 players.

Who knew I would grow up and become a real estate broker. I bought the game for us to play in the office. Pretty funny. While I miss the wooden houses and hotels from the original, the game is just as good and just as much fun to play today.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Monopoly Classic Refresh is a great update to the game I’ve loved. The new design feels better, and the updated tokens and board look really nice whilst still being classic. The chance and Community Chest cards have been refreshed too. One thing I really liked was how the game seemed to move a bit faster, thanks to some slight rule changes—it made the experience more enjoyable, especially when playing with friends. It definitely made me appreciate Monopoly again.

Played with our 7 years n below kids to teach about money and stuff, really fun and don't know where time goes. Ofcourse there will be yelling, etc but in the end fun at really low cost. Can invest in this game , if u as adult enjoy.
