Heat: Pedal to the Metal is an excellent game and an absolute blast to play. The decisions on what gear to be in, whether to use heat, what cards to play, etc. are enough to make each turn challenging, but not so much to cause analysis paralysis. The gameplay is where Heat really shines. It's fast and packed with clever mechanics that reward planning and risk-taking. The “heat” cards add a unique twist to managing your car's engine, forcing players to decide when to push their limits and when to play it safe. There's always a good sense of tension when a corner approaches as well as surprises when other players speed past you or fall behind. Every lap becomes a tense balance between speed and control, and the moment you hit a corner at the perfect speed, jump on the gas pedal, and take the lead, you'll feel like Ricky Bobby because “If you ain't first, you're last."  The mechanics are simple enough that new players can quickly pick up the game and the game also allows experienced players to manipulate their deck to level out the playing field. There is also a solo mode, offering a great experience when you can't gather a group. The vintage art is beautifully well done and captures the heart of vintage car racing. Overall, Heat is a terrific game. It's accessible for newcomers, satisfying for seasoned gamers, and guaranteed to satisfy your need for speed.

Heavy duty board with nice features, not sure if it's worth the amount of money though. It is a fun game once you learn the rules pretty easy to play as well.

Fun game, not particularly complex but a good competitive tempo card game. Board and pieces are very nice and the box has plenty of space for everything. 5/5
