Fun game to play with family especially pre-teens.
Very fun game!

I bought two of these for summer camp to ply minute-to-win-it! I ended up playing it with the kids I babysit and my nephew! It's even great for adults to play! This game is really fun! It takes a while to set up and getting it strapped correctly on different individuals is a little time consuming, but overall, once you get everything setup, watching the player is as fun as playing the game hahaha !! Also, I realized after a few weeks that you can adjust the position of the forks (how far they hang) on the crown from person to person, of that makes any sense..
Gimmick Game of 2018

Kid was really excited to get this game. The crown wont stay on my kids head and is very hard to play. Also its another game you have to clean after use (like pie face). And you have to take the whole thing apart to fit it back in the box (like the new hungry hungry hippos game). Overall looks more fun than it really is. Save your money.
Hilarious

It's not the best made product but for the cost you definitely get some great laughs! Bought as a gift for my daughter and she loved playing it!

Not Worth the Money Even if it is cheap

The crown doesn't fit children, it's too big and heavy and falls off. You can't reach the food that's hanging on the forks and I can't fit it back in the box.
Kids love the game and it's well put together
by Johnverse68
I received this game as free sample and let the kids judge if it's fun and they loved it. The whole concept is fun for the kids and it's well put together the pieces. The kids have been playing with it ever since it was received . If your looking for a new game for the kids this one would be a really great idea to try. It will stimulate your kids and let them have enjoyable fun! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Entertaining but complicated
by TMCR Reviews
Chow Crown is a game that doesn't take itself too seriously, and encourages that outlook in anyone who plays. It is as complicated to put together as it appears, and it does not come with the AA batteries required. Once those obstacles were overcome, the payoff was in spades for my 6 and 7 year old children. They had a blast, laughing as they tried to reach wildly wiggling forks whirling around their heads. To a certain extent, it has replay value, and we've enjoyed playing with friends and family who visit our home. However, assembly and cleaning make it more of a special occasion game rather than one we would play on a regular basis. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Loads of Fun!
by racheljoslin
The Chow Crown game is loads of fun! First be sure to put all of the pieces together. I was kinda worried about playing a game centered around eating, no worries, it isn't the easiest thing to do. The food swings around and each person gets a turn, the person to eat the most food wins. I definitely reccomend non messy food, I personally prefer to play this with grapes, strawberries, cashews and almonds. You play until the song stops, there are two different lengths of songs. I'd recommend playing the longer version, its funny watching everyone try to shark bite the food, the longer version gives you a little more time to get the hang of it. If you don't have much time or are an expert the short version works well too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Cute idea
by Sharonbelle
I had received this game to give my opinion....well, it is a cute idea. It was easy to put the parts together. But reaching the food was an obstacle. Unless I bent the fork, it might break, but it was hard to reach the food. We just might give this another chance and try to bend the forks more without breaking them. If we can reach the food, then yes I believe that this would be fun to play. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Not fun; Doesn't work
by CrazyCurlsChica
Crown will not stay on heads of any size, despite multiple adjustments. Crown falls off your head, which causes the "fork sticks" to come loose from the crown and need to be reattached, which gets tedious and time-consuming in between every turn. Also, as the unit spins, it gets caught in everyone's hair, even men or boys with short hair. If you have anything other than a bald head or a buzz cut, expect the forks to get tangled in your hair, and expect food to get mashed in your hair as well as on the back of your shirt. (Maybe wearing a bandana/handkerchief on your head would prevent tangling in the hair, but you're still going to need some sort of hairdresser cape (or garbage bag poncho) to protect your clothes.) Husband is an engineer. He is tasked with finding a way to make the crown stay on. (He believes a chin strap will help.) But as is, the game is absolutely unplayable.
