Kids race to be the first to fill the basket with their 10 pieces of fruit to win. A spin of the arrow determines their fate. It will instruct them to pick 1, 2, 3 or 4 pieces of fruit from their tree or bush and put 'em in the basket. But watch out for the bird and dog! If the arrow lands on one of those, a player will have to return 2 pieces of fruit. And if it lands on the spilled bucket, they’ll have to return ALL their fruit from the basket and start over! Not thrilled with this version of Hi Ho Cherry-o. I do not see this as the classic version. The game board is smaller. Unlike the original it only accommodates 3 players not 4. There is only 1 basket rather than 4. It gets confusing sharing 1 basket but only using 1 color per tree. Kind of annoying. The game board is so thin we have to tip toe around making sure not to bend it. It barely wants to hold up. What is with the quality of the games severely dropping. Sigh....

I bought this game after having many game nights that my 3 year old couldn't be apart of. I bought this online and it shipped quick. We played it once it got here and its so cute. Its a quicker game but very good for small kids who have a very little attention span. My 3 year old loves this game. I definitely recommend especially if you have younger children.

I got this game for my 3 year old daughter. It was a fame I remember playing as a child and wanted to make it a fun game night with her. Everyone enjoyed it including the adults. It helps with learning to count and taking turns. Overall I would definitely recommend this game. Family fun time and learning combined it's a win win!

The cherry playing pieces are very very small and would be choking hazard. The board and spinner is flimsy.

Such a fun game. My 3 year old grandson loves playing it! Cherry pieces and game board are the quality you get from an inexpensive game. Still gave a 5 star since it's the game not the quality.
