Double sided. Double fun.

One of my favorite things about these pieces is how their reverse sides can be used not only as separate individual pieces but also to show the environment changing. Something that a drawn map tends to lack is the change in environment as the battle progresses. With these pieces though if you shoot a fireball around some hay or at a barn then the building can now be shown engulfed in those flames. This set also has a ton of NPC options included. Monsters, animals, civilians, guards, even mimics (as both regular items and as their mimic form). So much to use.

Such a COOL Addition

by Lily

These double sided map pieces are phenomenal. you can decide between rock or lava. Have a floating ship or a sunken one. The settings are very different from one another in this set which has sparked some creative ideas for different campaign battles. Its basically 4 wildly different settings all in one box. Beyond that I have found the monster and NPC pieces to be essential. I also love how their opposite side is an injured version of the same character. I have found I can use it one of two ways... Either I use it to mark the enemies (or allies) as injured once under a certain amount of health so that the player characters can see it or as defeated enemies to have on the board If I am trying to encourage some looting that is essential to the campaign.
