We love the strategies of the game and that the board changes with every game. It can be a long game but it helps with planning and learning to trade. We did buy this when it was on sale for half price.... its not a cheap game but it has been worth it for us.

It takes a minute to learn but they have cheat cards so you dont forget. This game was a lot fun and we enjoy playing with our adult kids and friends. There are different ways to make it challenging. It may look intimidating but it's not. Play it and have fun!

My family and I enjoy playing this game very much. The concept is simple and creative. The board sections are high quality and die cut. The tokens are made of wood not plastic. This is a great addition to my family's board game collection and I highly recommend it.

My kids played this twice a day for two weeks. Great game because the hoard changes based on how it is set up.

Settlers of Catan is one of my favorite all-time game, and I was delighted to find it at such an affordable price. A true classic, it would make a great present for anyone who enjoys tabletop gaming.

I ordered this game for our family game collection. It got its own table and had multiple rounds played by multigenerational players over the holidays. Great fun was had by all!

I'm not quite a Catanaut yet, but am eager to play and to delve into other versions of the game. The soup stars White Castle double-sliders, bottoms up, with jalapeno cheese. It also has 2 Rao sauces, cheese and Arrabbino or however it's spelt, and a spot of cabbage and can of corn. It's bodacious!

Product is not sealed, and I'm not sure if that is normal. Most items like this typically have a thin plastic wrap around the box but this did not. Now it will look like the gift has been opened already, or perhaps was used/returned.

I'm trying to return this game. I'll keep you posted on how the seller responds. It's low quality - the box fell apart, the game hexagons don't fit within the borders, the printing is very dark so it's hard to tell the forest apart from the mountains. Spend the extra $5 and go to Indigo to buy this.

I played Catan at my friend's house. It's super fun so we bought it. But the one I bought was clearly fake. The chest was made of plastic when it's supposed to be wood, and the printing on the cards and board was blurry and low quality. It clearly wasn't an authentic version. Very disappointing experience. I returned it immediately, unfortunately I didn't took a picture

Not the authentic game, pieces are plastic, spelling mistakes in instruction guide, and resource tiles are quite dark in colour, taking away from the true detail of the authentic version. I returned for full refund.

Either catan has changed the product or this was a fake product. I have almost all the catan games but the tiles of this product couldn't fit the size of my other catans. However this catan was good for those who only wants to play this game.

i had checked the advertised UPC number to a full retail version and they are the same. however to the Verizon sent to me was a lower quality mass production version with a different UPC. You are getting what you are charged for, the cheaper version with lower quality box and components. i returned mine right away and was disappointed that the online advertisement was false

The version of Catan that was delivered is clearly an unofficial and very low quality replica of the original game. The quality assurance of Walmart will ensure that we will not make another order.

It is a great fun game but my game did not have all the correct pieces. I got doubles of some cards and none of the others. So we had to modify the cards to make it work

this is a cheap version of catan. the houses and other pieces are plastic instead of wood. everything looks cheap.
