Table Top Tic-Tac-Toe Board Game with Jumbo Pieces - 11 Pieces

Previous reviews revealed that everyone felt that the X's and O's were unfinished and would cause splinters. Well, this is true for little ones. I bought it for my high school graduate, for his party. This is fine for adults! Having priced other similar items, this is by far the best priced and is fine. I may sand and paint them; it would be a fun project. Painting the X's and O's different bright colors would be fun too. But, I like it the way it is!

I bought this game specifically for our party. It was a tremendous hit for both grown ups and children. I am so happy I got this... I also ordered decor and very satisfied with it....

My kids love tic tac toe. But they always need paper and pen, which generates trash that they just leave around the house. I got The jumbo tic tac toe set and my kids played it over and over today - for Christmas. The wood construction is great.

This wooden tic tac toe board is a huge hit. We have it on the coffee table and it is the perfect size. It is a nice quality. The wooden board is solid. I love how often it is played with in our home. I'm so happy we bought it. The price cannot be beat. It is definitely worth it. We get lots of comments on it when we have company over.

I hesitated to buy this game due to mixed reviews on the quality; however, figured if the pieces were rough, we would sand them. But we didn't have to! I personally thought the quality was great! We didn't have to do anything to it! Pieces are made of a lightweight wood and they were smooth on all edges.

I purchased these just a few weeks ago and will be using them when we have friends over for a barbeque. I'm so lucky to have found them.

The Good - perfect size and design The Not-so-Good - all the pieces where unfinished, unsanded, rough to the touch and gave me a splinter. This can be fixed with sanding each piece but would have strongly preferred for the product to come smooth and splinter-free, esp since it was a gift.

All of the products I order from Lakeside are excellent except this one. The board was good and sturdy, but the X's & O's were lightweight and bland so I bought some spray paint to spruce them up. I also painted the playing board with and Oak color, which made the game look more exciting!!!

This is a cute set that will be perfect to use indoors or out with our young grandkids. However, two people each spent an hour with sandpaper rubbing smooth edges on all the pieces and the whole board. I would not have invited anyone to use it the way it was upon receipt.

I bought this a few weeks ago to be used outside by the pool for the kids and also adults. The game is OK....it certainly works well enough, but the wooden pieces are rough and some of the wood was splintering. Since I am using it outside there is no need to return it. It was not an expensive item and it shows.

I bought this to bring to our cottage at the beach, thinking it would be fun for my grandchildren, who are young and just learning to play. Big pieces, too big to lose; it seemed perfect. But it has two flaws. 1) There are a lot of rough edges on the x's and o's, which probably means splinters and tears unless we painstakingly sand each piece, and 2) There is no space provided for storing the extra playing piece when not being used, which probably means it will "walk away" from the board at some point, rendering the game useless. It's pretty, but I'm a little bit disappointed.

The dice are smaller than I thought they would be, be sure to check the dimensions before buying. They are also very rough wood, as rough as a fence post. I thought they would be sanded a bit smoother.

My grandkids love tic-tac-toe and I thought this would be a great outdoor game. The board is constructed fairly well, but the "Xs" and "Os" are rough cut - not great for small hands. I little sanding would help. Mine is going to the yard sale!

I would have given this a 5 because it's very heavy and seem like it would last a long time. I gave it a 2 because the x's and o's are extremely rough.It's not smooth like it shows in the picture. I would be afraid of a child/grandchild getting a splinter.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and was dumbfounded at how poorly the finished product looked. The X's and O's did not have a clean finish and was very uneven. It looked like something from a beginner's grade school workshop, the bell rand and everything was left as is. Had guest's over and did not bring it out.

Although this wooden tic-tac-tie game looked pretty nice, the wood was unfinished. It was so rough and full of splinters I was afraid to have my grandchildren play with it. I had to get sandpaper and spend a couple of hours sanding down everything.

I BOUGHT THESE SETS FOR MY FOUR GRANDDAUGHTERS TO PLAY WITH, HOWEVER THE SETS WERE SO ROUGH AND FULL OF PLINTERS SO I WAS AFRAID TO LET THEM PLAY WITH THEM.

Bought for a fundraiser raffle. When I opened it, I got splinters just picking up one of the “X's”. Every piece was completely ragged with unsanded edges and surfaces making it not usable at all. I liked the concept of this fun item, and so had to spend 2 hours irs sanding every surface just to be able to pick up the pieces without getting splinters. Good idea, poor quality control. I have never been disappointed by products from Lakeside Collection, but this one was a flop.

I waited almost two months to receive this product. Once received, it needed to be sanded down to prevent any of my guests from getting splinters. Also, the color presented in the advertisement (which is a light shade of natural wood,) is not the color of the product. It is much darker. I am a very unhappy customer regarding this particular product. Please, inspect your products before you present them to you customers. Don't like being deceived like this. Thank you, Alzenia

I'm not happy with this!! It is rough and needs sanding down to smooth it!! I won't let my granddaughter use it in the shape it's in!! I can sand it & and spray urethane on it but I don't feel I should have to!! I realize it wasn't expensive but it's also bad quality!! Not like this company should be selling !!
