Modern, durable and easy to carry: this is the new
by aneyrar_5447
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE this game! We played Operation with my 4 year old and it was honestly such a fun experience. He couldn’t stop laughing every time it buzzed even when he didn’t quite get the rules, he still had a blast! What I love most is the quality it’s super durable, perfect for little hands. It includes clear instructions, and the packaging? Oh my gosh, it’s beautiful! It’s so modern compared to the traditional version, and what’s even better it comes like a little suitcase, so we can take it anywhere. It’s compact, easy to carry, and perfect for travel or just storing neatly at home. As a mom, I really appreciate when a game is both fun and practical and Operation totally checks all the boxes. It’s entertaining, educational, well made, and it brings the whole family together. So yes I 100% recommend it. And honestly… I like this version even more than the original!”
Just what I needed for my kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just what I needed for my kids, it's perfect to take everywhere so they can play and entertain themselves along the way. The design and finish are strong and durable, very versatile when playing since they can use it in several ways and when they're finished, put everything back in its compartment so it's safe to pack and take it everywhere again.
Bring back the 90s

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A childhood must have but better. This game brought me so much joy growing up. The new design makes it more durable and versatile for travel. The accuracy of redoing this nineties classic is spot on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a fun game for the whole family to enjoy accuracy is spot on. This game is so very portable the possibilities are endless to where all you can play Has so much versatility and this game is extremely durable so durability is great as it very well made. Safety is good even though it does have small pieces so of course supervision is required has a nice storage part to put the cards and pieces in such a fun game
Fun and Challenging Game for Kids!
by geen1991_754
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids absolutely love playing the classic Operation game! It’s a bit challenging for them, but I can definitely see how it’s helping improve their hand-eye coordination. They recently had friends over, and everyone had such a great time taking turns and laughing when the buzzer went off. It is a little on the loud side, but that just adds to the excitement. Overall, it’s a fantastic game that keeps them engaged and entertained. Highly recommend!
Fun on the go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was a kid, I used to love playing operation. The fine motor skills you had to use, the pressure not to hit the sides and being able to play with friends and family were always highlights for me. This portable game has everything you could want with the original and more. The buzzing action actually happens on the board so it doesn’t buzz your hand like the original. It has a nice convenient place to put the tweezers, cards and pieces so you don’t lose them and can easily close the game. I highly recommend this version of the game. So much fun!
Have fun 🫶🏻

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remember when playing this game as a child, my daughter and I had so much fun and laughter, she was so concentrated at it. We really enjoyed playing it together. And now that is foldable is super easy to store it. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Great for travel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new Operation game is half the size of the original and folds open for play, which makes it great for traveling. There is a small compartment inside it to hold the cards and game pieces. The buzzer is loud and makes the kids jump, they loved it. It also has a 60 second timer when you push and hold the nose, for rapid removal. Overall it’s a 5/5 stars. I highly recommend this game!

Wasn't expecting portable game. Smaller than expected. Cute overall so kept it. Next time need to order classic version. Read details is best advice.
Fun for game nights with the kids!
by lizm335_8259
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played the game “Operation” with my 8-year-old, and it was fun! The game was easy for my child to understand, but still kept us both entertained with its buzzer and fun challenges. We had a great time trying to remove the “body parts” without setting off the buzzer—definitely added a lot of laughs and excitement to our game night. It’s a fun way to keep kids engaged . It’s a fun time for game night.
Classic and revamped board game!
by amandapipp_1171
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game Operation is a classic. I was pleasantly surprised with the upgrade and portability of the game. It’s a fun, skill-based game that tests your hand-eye coordination and steady hands as you attempt to remove tiny plastic ailments from a cartoon patient named Cavity Sam. Pros: -Great for all ages – While it’s marketed toward kids, adults can have just as much fun (especially when played competitively). -Simple yet challenging – The concept is easy to grasp, but the buzzer punishes even the slightest mistake, making it surprisingly tricky. -Encourages fine motor skills – It’s a fantastic way for younger players to develop precision and patience. -Classic nostalgia – If you played this as a kid, the familiar sound of the buzzer and the little ailments bring back fond memories. Cons: -Pieces can get lost easily – Some of the ailments are tiny, so keeping track of them is important. -Limited replayability – Once you’ve mastered the game, it doesn’t change much, so it might not hold long-term interest for everyone. If you’re looking for a fun, interactive game that challenges your dexterity, Operation is a great choice. It’s perfect for family game nights, but the novelty can wear off after repeated plays. Still, its classic charm and simple mechanics make it a solid addition to any board game collection.
Cute, portable version of a classic game
by bethh1f9a_2502
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try out this classic game from my childhood with my own kiddo. The portability of the game is a nice feature as is the ability to play on your own in the Emergency Mode. However, we both found that the spaces for each “ailment” were slightly too big which caused pieces to move too much. We still had fun playing, but the moving pieces were a bit frustrating.
Ailments not included
by taylorm761_5442
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super stoked to show my kids this game and reminisce about my own childhood, but upon opening the game we discovered the ailments were not included. I imagine my game was a one-off, but still super disappointed. I love the updates to the carrying case so all the pieces would be easily stored and protected (no more smashed cardboard boxes)! Unfortunately I can’t speak more on actually playing the game since the ailments were missing.
I prefer the original.
by B
Unlike the original. There’s no dollar amount, so you can’t keep score and the pieces are super easy to obtain. The pros are that it folds and has a storage compartment for the cards and play pieces. I wouldn’t recommend for game night, I’d use the old version.. but overall, it’s great quality.
