Hearty Laughter %26 Meme Masterpieces!
by MaHurl
I picked up the *What Do You Meme? Family Edition* and wow, what a blast! It's like having a comedy show right in your living room, but this time the stars of the show are my family members, and trust me, the laughs were non-stop. First off, the new refreshed content is a game-changer. There are fresh memes that my kids actually know from their social media while still being appropriate for family fun. It really bridges the gap between ages, making everyone feel included. I mean, who doesn't love a good cat meme when the kids are involved? The gameplay is straightforward – you match meme captions with the best pictures. I loved seeing how creatively my family interpreted things. Some of the combinations were so silly they had us in stitches! One round had my dad cracking up over a picture of a confused dog paired with the caption, “When you realize it's Monday tomorrow.” I think my mom might have taken a picture just to remember that moment! What's great is it's perfect for ages 8 and up, which means game night is now officially family night. No more awkward “What do I do with the younger kids?” moments. Everyone gets to join in, and it's refreshing to see my teens actually engaging with the rest of the family instead of disappearing into their rooms. Overall, *What Do You Meme? Family Edition* is the perfect blend of humor and creativity. If you're looking for something fun to liven up your family gatherings, this game is an absolute winner. Just be ready for some hearty laughter and maybe a few unexpected meme masterpieces!

Its a fun game but it starts getting boring after a while. I bought it for my teenagers at church and after a while, they lost interest. It is funny tho
True family friendly

Anything to get kids to engage with you for an hour or so. No real set up or clean up - kids 7 and 11 laughing- adults laughing to - everyone gets a turn doing both roles . Adult can pair with a non reader to make it all ages . You can downplay keeping score if needed and play for any amount of time - so one more round or stop whenever

I had previously ordered this item from Amazon and it arrived without a shipping box, it was shipped in the original packaging and arrived damaged and bent up. I returned it and ordered from Walmart for the same price and it arrived well packaged and undamaged.

This game's so fun! The cards are well done they are suitable for really anyone. The text on them is a good size even if your vision impaired. I would say that little kids would get bored or not understand it. There's a lot of reading so it's a great game to play with girlfriends, buddies, or even have a couple night. The only issue is there's so many cards!
Family fav

If your family is a YT or tech family like ours, you'll appreciate time away from screens with this game; always have a great time laughing together. Best part about this game is the ability to add into it your own content if you have a bit of creative edge. Hands down one of our family's fav game to play together!

This is really not Family Edition. More like 18 for some of the cards. Some of the worded cards are inappropriate and some of the picture cards are inappropriate. Example some cards of the people look like they are on crack. We took out 15% of the picture cards and about 25% of the worded cards. The age group we have is 75 to age 8.

My nieces took out the original and when I saw all the foul language I decided I would get them the family addition for Christmas. Sorry to say… This game was boring. For the most part the photo cards aren't that good (however there are plenty!) and the slogan cards… hardly any match up with the pictures. Stick with cards against humanity. Thumbs down on “what do you meme?”
Good for all ages

My kids (13 and 11) love playing this game. They took it to my parents' (their grandparents' house) to play with them. There was a bit of a learning curve with the grandparents: they had to properly learn what a meme is lol. But once that was taught, a good time was had by all!
New Christmas Eve Game
by johannatech
I bought this game for the family to play together on Christmas Eve. Everyone thought it was so fun, although it is a bit heavy on the potty humor! The kids thought it was absolutely hilarious. Hopefully playing this game will be a new Christmas Eve tradition. Kids are 9, 10, 13 and 16. Plus 3 adults. We all enjoyed it!

Wanted it for “ family” , it was mostly for 6-10 year olds I would say. All about school, teachers etc. Gave it to my granddaughter who teaches 7 year olds and I got the Adult game.

the pictures to associate a caption fir are great. the caption cards are very poop oriented. alit of pitty humor fougd in 8 yr old boys. we decided not to use the caption cards but write our own captions and play the game as directed. then it was really fun. i did not want the version that wasnt "family friendly" due to not wanting potentially "adult" pictures to select captions for. all in all, we are happy with the game now that we decided to write our own captions. a great group game for family of all ages.

I thought this was a book I didn't realize it was a game that I'm not interested in

Teenage kids had lots of laughs

My son loves this game, a little slow but super fun to play with the family.
by Susan
kids love it! We switched it to passing out the pictures to each player and read the meme title to the group. easier for younger players!

Not as Family-oriented as I would like
by Carolyn
There are lots of potty references (pooping in the pool, holding in farts, etc.) in the prompts, so not as family-friendly as I was hoping for.
